In Canada/UK and many other similar regimes, the elected members MUST vote for their party - some abstain, those voting against are expelled but keep their seat. In the USA this is not the case. Since each vote is seen, an elected member now has a sellable asset = vote my way = $50,000 cash. There have been so many 'bag man' jokes that this concept has been validated. What every US voter has = secret ballot, is denied to the elected members. There needs to be a way to give ballot secrecy. Perhaps a dual vote, one secret and one seen. That would allow people to appear to satisfy the bag filler and also vote as they feel they should. The secret ballot carries the win. I suggest this as a way to debag politics in the USA.

No. You think the corruption is bad now, imagine if they could do it in secret, with a public record that lies about what votes were cast. Seriously, wtf.
